Kristen’s yoga journey began after being diagnosed with herniated discs and suffering severe chronic pain and a crooked spine in her early 20’s. She researched doctors and put together a program to heal her own back pain, which consisted of specific yoga stretches and traction/elongation exercises. Pregnancy and motherhood have expanded her understanding of yoga postures for optimal health and well being during these important stages of a woman’s life. Kristen firmly believes in the connection to one’s body and baby and the critical role yoga can play in enhancing that bond. She has completed Level 1 trainings at Yoga Hanalei and YogaWorks, and Prenatal Yoga Training with Flossie Park/Soul of Yoga.
