18 Oct An Attitude of Gratitude Can Change Everything
In the mornings I usually hop on my yoga mat for about 10-20 minutes and either stretch, meditate or journal. Today I looked at my mat and felt a sense of complete gratitude for this mat. I purchased this mat back in 2005 when I completed my first yoga teacher training. That was 14 years ago!!! This mat has experienced countless amounts of sweat during my Bikram yoga phase, it has felt my pregnant belly on it, it has had my baby at the time crawl all around it when I taught Mommy and Me yoga classes. It has been outside on many occasion during the classes I taught and the classes I take with my outdoor yoga teacher. It has logged numerous hours of meditation and journaling sessions. The dog has crawled, rested and stretched on this mat. My daughter has done more than one downward dog here too. I look at this mat and smile proudly. What makes you smile in gratitude?
